Perfectly Grilled Flank Steak

Beef flank steak grills up tender and juicy in a marinade sweetened by honey and spiced with chili powder.

  • For Marinade:
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 6 cloves crushed garlic
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup apple cider
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1-2 teaspoons ground black pepper

  • For Steak:
  • 1½ pounds beef flank steak

  • 1 can BUSH’S® Texas Ranchero® Grillin’ Beans®
 
  1. For Marinade: In medium bowl mix oil, garlic, honey, apple cider, chili powder, salt and pepper. Pour marinade into large plastic resealable bag.
  2. For Steak: Place steak in bag of marinade, shake to coat and refrigerate for 2 hours to overnight.
  3. Set clean, well-oiled grill to high heat. When grill is hot, using tongs, place steak on grill and cook each side for 2-3 minutes or until desired doneness, to internal temperature of at least 145 degrees F.
  4. Remove steak from grill, place on serving platter and let rest for 10 minutes. Cut steak into thin slices against the grain before serving.
  5. Serve with BUSH’S Texas Ranchero Grillin’ Beans.
