This creamy, irresistible Mexican-style dip is perfect for parties!

  • 1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
  • 1 (1.25 ounce) package taco seasoning
  • 1 1/2 (16 ounce) cans BUSH’S® Refried Beans
  • 1 (16 ounce) jar chunky salsa
  • 2 cups lettuce, shredded
  • 1 large tomato, chopped
  • 2 avocados, diced
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • 1 (4 ounce) can sliced black olives
 
  1. Mix sour cream and taco seasoning. Chill in fridge for 30 minutes.
  2. In sauce pan, combine BUSH’S® Refried Beans and salsa. Heat on medium until evenly blended. Let cool.
  3. Shred lettuce. Dice tomatoes, avocadoes and green onions. Take cooled BUSH’S® Refried Beans and salsa and spread in 11x13 inch pan. Spread sour cream/taco seasoning mixture over beans.
  4. Layer the cheese, olives, lettuce, tomatoes, avocadoes and green onions in that order evenly over each ingredient. Serve with tortilla chips.

Over all a good basic recipe for 7-layer dip. A whole packet of taco seasoning is very over powering. Next time I will only use half the packet. I also did not use a whole jar of salsa, which I am glad because it would have been too much.

YUM!! I made this for the superbowl and it was gone in 20 minutes!! I did make some changes though..I used vegetarian refried beans, and diced some jalapeno to mix in with the sour cream/cream cheese. I used a yellow onion instead of the green onions and cut out the avacado all together (i'm not a big fan). The end result was delicious!!! Will be making again!
