Cuban Green Soup
Submitted by:
SBEARLY
This is a great recipe from Tampa, where I loved the Cuban restaurants. I had this soup in several restaurants before I found the recipe! Great, hearty winter recipe with navy beans and turnip greens!

Easy Red Beans and Rice

This is an easy and delicious take on a Louisiana classic that you can prepare and cook in 40 minutes! I use turkey kielbasa to cut down on the fat, but not the flavor.

Cottoneye Peas
Submitted by:
LREYNAL
Years ago a friend gave me her blackeye pea recipe that was not your usual blackeye peas. She called them Cottoneye Peas. It was a spicy and warm welcome into the New Year. I now get requests for it all the time. You can make it as spicy as you like or, if you don't like spicy, use the peas without jalapeno.
